This four-stage filter cartridge is suitable for Kenwood water filter jugs and will filter up to 150 litres of water. Using the latest in filtration technology this filter makes food taste better, drinks are clearer and water is improved at a fraction of the cost of buying bottled water. The four stages are: 1. Primary filter to trap large particles floating in the water (sand, rust, etc). ; 2. The latest food grade ion exchange technology. The resins reduce heavy metals, limescale, and aluminium, etc. ; 3. Special activated carbon (silver treated for bacteria control) absorbs chlorine and organic pollutants such as herbicides, solvents, bad taste and other odours, etc. ; 4. Fine particle filter.
